Love Lula Beauty Box March 2018

Hello Lovelies,

Welcome back! And welcome, if you are new here 💕💕💕

Green Life In Dublin
Love Lula Beauty Box March 2019

How are all of you? I hope you are well? March wasn't the best month for me, with too many doctors appointments, and don't get me started on snow storms in spring! Mother Nature is definitely confused, and it was funny (not) to see how a bit of snow stops the entire countries who aren't used to it. I am still mentally scarred from not being able to buy food or medicine when I needed it (everything around me was closed for a week) and I already told my hubby I will be stocking ALL of my natural medicine cabinet before next winter comes, well before we need it. (normally we get bits and pieces when the need arises) It was also not fun to have 5*C in the living room with TWO heaters on full blast - we were camping in the bedrooms. Beast from the East for sure. I was also heartbroken to see not one but two 50-80 old trees broken.

Err, sorry for getting sidetracked :) My mind is too busy most of the time. Like having 28678 tabs open at all times.

You are here to see what's in this month's Love Lula box, so let's get started, shall we?

Having zero patience, I peeked at Love Lula Natural Beauty Club's spoiler alert post as soon as I saw it, and my heart jumped for joy at seeing some of the content photos posted there. I have been wanting one of the products ever since they launched in Love Lula, and all the others seem pretty exciting too. This box total is not an impressive as some of the previous ones we had value wise, but I like it a lot, because it looks like I will be able to actually use all of the things in it. No Urban Veda or Madara this time, the brands are all new to me, except for Sukin and Laidbare. Overall, I think Love Lula done well this month! Let's jump into the individual products:

Elsa's Natural Deodorant

This is the most exciting thing for me, as I have been wanting to try this for a couple of months now. I got it in Ocean, and I know other people got it in LoveDew or Sensitive. My blogger friend Jana from Small Bits of Loveliness seems to like it, so I think that's good for me too! It will be interesting to compare this to my DIY I've been using for years. And it came just in time, as Lavera deodorant I am currently using is not really working out for me. The ingredients seem very good, and I hope this might be just the product for me?

Ingredients: (sensitive)
(all the others have the same ingredients plus scents coming from essential oils)
Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil*, Magnesium Oxide, Camellia Oleifera (Camellia Green Tea) Oil, Maranta Arundinacea (Arrowroot) Powder*, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candellila) Wax, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter*, Kaolin Clay, Himalayan Pink Salt, Aloe Barbadensis Cocos Nucifera (Aloe Vera) Butter, Tocopherol (Vitamin E). *Certified Organic

Fom London Hydra Bright Night Complex Treatment

A deluxe sample of this is my first introduction to the brand - they are on my radar and wishlist, I just never seem to get round to them, either something else always comes up, or I don't want to have too many open products at a time. So thank you Love Lula for taking this matter into your hands and sending this my way, lol. This is generous 10ml sample of the product that costs £79 for a full size (50ml), so I definitely appreciate the opportunity to try it! Will be interesting to see how this performs. It promises to remedy dark spots on face, as well as dull & dehydrated skin, uneven skin texture & have

skin brightening effect. Why, yes please! If you happen to have experience with the product, please do let me know?

Laidbare Guess My Age Anti-aging Treatment Cream

Another full size product, and although I am happy about receiving this, although I must admit it will be put aside until I will finish Bella Aura products I currently use and adore, see my review I posted recently). As with Fom, the ingredients seem great (maybe apart from phenoxyethanol) and I really hope my sensitive skin will like it. It has coconut oil in the ingredients as well, and my skin can either take it or really rebel against it, so we will see how that goes. We have had Working 9 to 5 cream in some recent beauty box, and I currently use it as a hand cream.

Ingredients:
AQUA (WATER) ALOE BARBADENSIS (ALOE VERA) LEAF JUICE GLYCERIN (COCONUT) CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE (COCONUT) GLYCERYL STEARATE (PALM KERNAL) ISOPROPYL MYRISTATE (PALM OIL) CETEARYL ALCOHOL (PALM KERNAL OIL) CETEARYL GLUCOSIDE (SUGAR) MANNITOL (BOTANICAL) CYCLODEXTRIN (YEAST) DISODIUM SUCCINATE (SYNTHETIC) DEHYDROACETIC ACID, BENZYL ALCOHOL (NATURALLY DERIVED PRESERVATIVE) PASSIFLORA INCARNATA (PASSION) FLOWER OIL SQUALANE (OLIVE DERIVED) XANTHAN GUM (NATURALLY DERIVED THICKENER) CITRUS LIMONUM (LEMON) PEEL OIL CITRUS AURANTIFOLIA (LIME) PEEL OIL TOCOPHEROL (NATURAL VITAMINE E) LAMINARIA JAPONICA (JAPANESE SEAWEED) EXTRACT POTASSIUM SORBATE (NATURALLY DERIVED PRESERVATIVE) SODIUM BENZOATE (NATURALLY DERIVED PRESERVATIVE) CITRAL (ESSENTIAL OILS) LIMONENE (ESSENTIAL OILS).

Sukin Purifying Shampoo and  Nourishing Conditioner

Sukin is a brand I am very familiar with, and the one that (surprise surprise) is available locally, but unfortunately I haven't had much luck with their face products, and I have tried about six of them over the years. I have had a thought about trying their shampoo one day, so it's like Love Lula were reading my mind. Excited to see if these will work for me, as I am currently testing a few different shampoos, and not everything is working out well as I'd hoped to. I am so hoping these could replace my beloved Rahua Voluminous Shampoo - I would love to find a budget version of Rahua, basically. (review here if you are interested) Both of these shampoos & conditioners are total bargains, only 7.95£ for 250ml or 9.95£ for 500ml, so I am keeping my fingers crossed here! (in the box we got 50ml of each, so I am guessing that's a deluxe sample size?

Purifying Shampoo ingredients:
Aqua, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Cocoamidopropyl Betaine, Decyl Glucoside, PEG-150 Pentaerythrityl Tetrastearate, Equisetum Arvense Extract (Horsetail), Arctium Lappa Extract (Burdock), Urtica Dioica Extract (Nettle), Phenoxyethanol, Benzyl Alcohol, Citrus Tangerina (Tangerine) Peel Oil, Citrus Nobilis (Mandarin Orange) Peel Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Vanilla Planifolia Extract, Citric Acid, Linalool,* Limonene.*

Nourishing Conditioner ingredients:
Aqua, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Cetyl Alcohol, Cetrimonium chloride, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Glycerin, Hydrolysed Wheat Protein, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil (Rose Hip), Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Urtica Dioica Extract (Nettle), Arctium Lappa Extract (Burdock), Equisetum Arvense Extract (Horsetail), Phenoxyethanol, Benzyl Alcohol, Citrus Tangerina (Tangerine) Peel Oil, Citrus Nobilis (Mandarin Orange) Peel Oil Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Vanilla Planifolia Extract, Citrus Paradisi Extract (Grapefruit Seed), Linalool,* Limonene.*

Balm Balm Frankincense Light Facial Oil

As an outside of UK customer, this is what you get instead of their newly released Glossworks nail polish shade (sob). As excited as I am about the chance to test it, I have to be honest I will probably use it up in other ways (after trying on my face first, of course) - the thing is most of the facial oils containing frankincense essential oil ended up too strong for my uber sensitive skin, and after learning dermatitis hates oils, I don't use much of them anyway. On the face, that's it. Hair and the body, that's a different story - I can't get enough of them! After working so hard to finish off my facial oils stash I somehow accumulated a collection again, so will have to do Project Pan of some sort. Even though I am a blogger, I don't like to have too many open products at any given time.

So, all in all, I think this is a great box, and a great way to switch your products to clean products without spending a fortune if you are only starting out your green beauty journey. Even if you are advanced in it, it is always fun to discover something new, isn't it? The value of this box is £48 and even though it is not as much as some of the recent boxes we had, I still think it's terrific value, as I will be able to use every single product in the box! I know I still love getting new products, nearly ten years in into my green beauty journey I still get excited getting boxes in the mail. What about you?
